This was done as an order over at Surreal Studios. =]
For thetamar of their character Ariadne. This image my only be used by thetamar of surreal and myself. Ariadne is supposed to control the element of light, so I ran with that. Funny enough, I got inspiration from the song "Taiyou no todokanai basho (a place the sun doesn't reach)" by RENTRER EN SOI, and the lyrics make me think of like, the darkest, loneliest place imaginable. So I went with a sort of being embraced by light; remembrance; life image. And this is what I got. Second time I've ever painted a mane and tail. I didn't know how to do the forelock, so I kinda just painted over it and it still looks wonky. =/ Definitely not pleased with that. this is amazing
if you want tips on blending feet into grass, there is an eraser brush in the shape of a blade and a couple of blades of grass. just make sure the horse layer is unlocked and click around his feet a few times, and BAM.
